About the University of Mary
The University of Mary is a Christian, Catholic and Benedictine university based in Bismarck, North Dakota. Founded in 1959 by the Benedictine Sisters of Annunciation Monastery, the university serves over 3,100 students in Bismarck and six other states.
Now, through an unprecedented public-private partnership, the University of Mary is offering ASU students the opportunity to earn a major or minor in Catholic studies or theological studies, or take individual classes as a complement to their ASU degree. Classes begin each August and January and cover a wide range of academic subjects including Theology, Biblical Studies, Church History, Ethics and more.
