The University of Mary is a Christian, Catholic and Benedictine university based in Bismarck, North Dakota. Founded in 1959 by the Benedictine Sisters of Annunciation Monastery, the university serves over 3,100 students in Bismarck and six other states.

Now, through an unprecedented public-private partnership, the University of Mary is offering ASU students the opportunity to earn a major or minor in Catholic studies or theological studies, or take individual classes as a complement to their ASU degree. Classes begin Fall 2012. For more information on U-Mary at ASU-Newman Center, contact arizona@umary.edu.

U-Mary has also partnered with the Diocese of Phoenix to bring the Master of Education: Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment onsite to Phoenix. This program has a unique focus on Catholic educators because the University of Mary believes that the Catholic educator provides students with an education as well as spiritual inspiration and preparation to make a positive difference in the world based on their faith. Classes are held at St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Phoenix. For more information on this program contact Dr. Rebecca Salveson at rysalves@umary.edu or (800) 408-6279, ext. 8186.
