Dear friends,

We are more than halfway through this Advent Season and just days away from the end of 2020. Oh, how I can't wait for this year to be over!

I want to thank each of you for your continuing support of Newman. Our students have been through drastic changes, and our campus ministry team has been with them every step of the way. Campus looks different but the needs of the ASU students has not changed.

I want to briefly share with you where we are with this year's Matching Gift fundraising efforts. As you know, we had a generous alum kick us off with a $25,000 gift, and additional families have contributed to help us "match" all gifts up to $50,000 we receive in the month of December.

So far, we have raised $15,693 for one-time gifts, and 27 families chose to support Newman by making a recurring gift that is then matched for the whole year. We are on our way to our goal, but not there yet!

We all have a lot to be grateful for, even under these trying times. With 2020 almost behind us, let us remember the importance of Christmas this year.
