Welcome ASU Parents and Families:
Welcome to this year’s ASU Family Weekend. The asuCatholic Newman Center sits proudly in the middle of the ASU campus and is a welcome reprieve from campus life for all students and university staff.
I’m Fr. Rob Clements and I am the director of the Catholic Newman Center at ASU. I want to welcome you on to campus this weekend and to let you know that I am always available to your student and you, if you ever need anything.
I spend a lot of time with students. I have a pretty good idea of what is going on in their lives. I know their worries and concerns. I want you to know as a parent that we are here for your student.
In the section below you can leave me your prayer requests or a note. It can be for your ASU student or anyone else that you wold like me to pray for.
As a parent would you like to get involved with us at Newman? I am forming a very informal “parents’ group” that will have three purposes -
Be a resource to me and my team – provide me with feedback to improve the Newman Experience from your perspective.
Be a group where like-minded parents can interact with each other while their students are attending ASU.
Be very casual. No time commitments, and you do not need to be local. We'll do everything by email and a new Facebook group.
Leave me a note in the prayer request form that you are interested in the group. I’ll email you back with all the details about the new group.
Below are Mass times for Family Weekend:
Thursday, September 27, 2018 – 6pm
Saturday, September 29, 2018 – 4pm
Sunday, September 30, 2018, - 9am, 11pm, 1pm (Spanish Mass), 7pm and 9pm
I hope you can come to Mass and please stop by after and say, hello.
I am so glad you'll be on campus this weekend. Please stop by at one of masses and see what we are all about.
