Holy Hour at Danforth Chapel

In the heart of one of the largest universities in the world, there is a small chapel that has been quietly waiting since 1948.

Danforth Chapel sits tucked between the Memorial Union and Hayden Library — easy to walk past, easy to miss. Four times a year, the Newman Center invites ASU students, faculty, and staff to step away from the noise of campus and spend an hour in prayer in this beloved space.

No agenda. No program. Just silence, intention, and the freedom to bring whatever is on your heart.

Danforth Chapel is non-denominational, and all are welcome. Come as you are, pray in your own tradition, and sit with whatever you are carrying. This hour belongs to you.

"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10
