Santoro Coffee & Donuts!
All members of our parish community are encouraged to enjoy Santoro Coffee & Donuts after the Sunday 9:30 AM Mass during the academic year. This simple gathering helps foster fellowship, hospitality, and a true sense of belonging.
Mike Santoro, beloved alumnus of the ASU Newman Center (BS in Geography 2002, MS in Geography 2009, PhD 2017), died May 2024 at the young age of 45. He understood the gift of hospitality and practiced it wholeheartedly throughout his life. A gifted cook, he jumped at every opportunity to get to know someone over a shared meal.
The Newman Center, as well as Maggie’s Place and Andre House, benefited greatly from Mike and his wife Annie’s generosity. Today, we celebrate his legacy and honor him through Santoro Coffee & Donuts at the ASU Newman Center.
The Santoro Coffee and Donuts aim to embody the values Mike cherished by fostering fellowship and hospitality. We will continue to follow his mission: bringing people together, sharing kindness, and supporting one another.
Please join us by sponsoring one of the Santoro Coffee & Donuts for ASU’s Newman students.
“Do this in memory of me.”
